We begin in Podgorica, Montenegro’s vibrant capital, before heading to Žabljak, the adventure hub nestled in the dramatic Durmitor National Park. Feel the thrill as you raft through the turquoise waters of the Tara River Canyon, Europe’s deepest canyon, and marvel at the dizzying heights of the iconic Tara Bridge. Next, we glide across the serene waters of Shkodër Lake, a hidden gem where mountain reflections meet untouched beauty.
Our escape continues along the Adriatic Coast to Budva, where sandy beaches, ancient city walls, and a buzzing nightlife scene await. Finally, we wind down in Kotor, the sparkling medieval town where winding streets lead to epic views from the fortress, a visit to the postcard-perfect Perast is simply unmissable and exploring the coast on a boat trip.

We are heading on a self drive road trip across Montenegro - A hidden gem of the Balkans where rugged mountains meet the Adriatic’s turquoise coast, starting with Podgorica, the laid-back capital, heading deeper into the wild beauty and adventures of Žabljak and Durmitor National Park, and arriving at the coast in Budva, a vibrant seaside town known for its beaches and buzzing nightlife and wrapping it up in Kotor, a UNESCO-listed harbor town wrapped in medieval walls and mountain views

Day 1
Podgorica
Welcome to Montenegro. Arrive in Podgorica, the lively capital of Montenegro. Spend the evening exploring its cafés, riverside spots, and local charm. O/N Podgorica.

Day 2
Podgorica - Žabljak
Leave Podgorica and visit the stunning Ostrog Monastery. Continue to Žabljak. Enjoy a scenic hike around Crno Jezero (Black Lake) in Durmitor National Park. O/N Žabljak.

Žabljak
Get your adrenaline fix with an epic river rafting adventure through the Tara Canyon — one of Europe’s deepest gorges. Don’t miss the breathtaking views from the iconic Tara Bridge. O/N Žabljak.

Žabljak - Budva
Drive south to Virpazar and head for a wine tasting session followed by a scenic boat ride on Shkodra Lake, then continue to Budva and enjoy the vibrant Adriatic vibes. O/N Budva.

Budva
Cycle along Montenegro’s stunning coastline, stopping for refreshing dips in hidden coves. Visit the iconic island of Sveti Stefan before heading back to Budva to catch a gorgeous sunset. O/N Budva.

Budva - Kotor
Head to the stunning bay town of Kotor and visit the charming village of Perast nearby. Hike up to Kotor Fortress for a breathtaking sunset and panoramic views of the bay. O/N Kotor.

Kotor
Discover Kotor’s charming old town, then set sail to visit the Blue Grotto and the Church on the Bay. End the day with a lively sunset boat party on the Adriatic. O/N Kotor.

Kotor - Podgorica
Depart Kotor and drive back to Podgorica, soaking in the last views of Montenegro’s stunning landscapes. O/N Podgorica.

Podgorica - Home
Bid farewell to Montenegro as you depart from Podgorica, carrying memories of its mountains, coast, and charming towns.
Inclusions:-
Stay in a hotel in Podgorica, guest house in Žabljak & hostel (private room) in Kotor, on a double / twin sharing basis. Stay in a hostel (dorm room) in Budva.
Travel within Montenegro in a self drive car on a group basis.
All activities and experiences mentioned in the itinerary.
Entrance fees to national parks and attractions during the group activities, tourist taxes, all local taxes. No hidden charges.
Pre-trip support on travel related matters. Trip leader for the hassle free experience and support throughout the trip. Local guides wherever applicable.
Exclusions:-
GST@ 5% and TCS@ 5%. (TCS can be claimed when you file your ITR).
International flight tickets to Podgorica (Arrival on or before 12 June 2026) and from Podgorica (Departure on or after 20 June 2026). Please reach out to us before booking your flights.
Visa fees and services. Indian passport holders with a valid multiple-entry Schengen, US or UK visa can enter Montenegro for up to 30 days. Alternatively, you can apply for a tourist visa to the consulate of Montenegro through VFS.
Travel insurance for the period of travel. Please note that travel insurance is mandatory.
Food expenses during the trip.
Transfers to and from airports.
Cost of fuel consumed by the cars, parking charges and toll on the road trip will be equally divided among all the travelers.
Personal requirements such as alcohol, laundry, early check-in, late check-outs, room upgrades, etc.
Any extra cost incurred on behalf of an individual due to illness, accident, hospitalisation, or any personal emergency.
Any excursion, activity or sightseeing not expressly mentioned as included or optional in this itinerary.

You can block the slot by paying a token amount of INR 30000 / AED 1500 for this trip.
Payment can be made using bank transfer, NEFT / RTGS/ IMPS / credit cards / debit cards / UPI.
2.5% additional merchant fees are applicable in case of payments through debit & credit cards.
Remaining balance to be paid 1 month prior to the date of departure.
TCS @5% will be deposited under your PAN number and can be claimed back when you file your ITR.
Cancellation policy:-
Our trips are cancellable and 100% refundable up to a certain number of days before departure and the % of refund reduces as we get closer to the trip.
- Up to 45 days = Full refund
- 30 days - 44 days = 25% of the trip cost as cancellation fees
- 15 days - 29 days = 50% of the trip cost as cancellation fees
- There will be no refund within 15 days before the start of the trip
Cancellation of planned activities In the case of unforeseen weather conditions or other restrictions, certain planned activities during the trip may have to be rescheduled or cancelled. In such cases, we will try our best to provide an alternate feasible activity. However, no refund will be provided for the same.
Cancellation due to unforeseeable circumstances In case the trip is cancelled due to unforeseen circumstances such as on account of a pandemic, civil disturbances, adverse weather conditions or any such event, we will endeavour to work with all our trip partners such as hotels, guides and any other service providers to refund the maximum amount possible.
Cancellation by Untourist Escapes In case Untourist Escapes cancels the trip, due to any reasons not mentioned above, full amount will be refunded to the travellers.
